Having talked with my local KTM dealer this morning it would appear that on the 1290 Adventure bikes, all of them, R,S, T & even the GT, the anti-wheelie mode can not be disabled, switching off the ABS and TC leaves it working - on the 1290SDR you can purchase the Track-Pack which enables Anti-Wheelie Mode off while Check your grounds, check the voltage at the starter and starter solenoid while trying to crank.
