To my suprise the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM is not in the list of recommended lenses. As I already own this lens (came with the 6D) I'm wondering should I look for a new 'standard' zoom lens and if so which one do you recommend for the 5DS(R) ? Hi Get the f/4L if you want f/4, L-build w/weather sealing, focus distance scale, and aren't as concerned with silent AF in LiveView/Video. Otherwise I expect the new lens to sell for less and be very good, a la the 18-135 STM which it very much resembles. I could be (and often am) wrong , but I would not hold out for a f/4L II anytime soon.
